Yes you are certainly welcome to come for a site inspection. Please contact Leah to arrange a time that suits you.

Yes! These are by appointment only and do incur a $150 weekend loading fee. Please get in touch with your specific dates.

I don’t have Public Liability Insurance – what should I do?2024-08-09T04:12:38+00:00

Public Liability insurance is something all business owners should have to protect themselves and their clients if accidents happen and damages occur.

If you accidentally damage or break any property while on site at Lumen Studio, you are liable to pay for the damages to be fixed or items to be replaced and that can be quite expensive.

There are plenty of Insurance providers that allow short term cover and can easily be found with a quick Google search!

I need a specific day but it’s booked already – what can you do?2024-08-09T03:29:48+00:00

If your ideal day is already taken, please contact Leah ASAP to see if bookings can be changed around. Otherwise, she will try and fit you into your next preferred option.

What happens if it is raining on the day of my booking?2024-08-09T03:41:06+00:00

Unfortunately, no one can control the weather. The Studio is a full natural light space and is affected by dull overcast days. There is still lots of light but it will appear more ‘flat and even’. The natural light won’t be as bright and it will appear ‘flat’ ie – no highlights and shadows.

The Studio is not liable and is not required to provide a refund if the outside weather affects the desired outcome of the shoot on the day of your booking.

However, if the weather forecast a few days ahead of your booking time is not ideal, we will do everything we can to reschedule your session. Please get in touch ASAP as it is your responsibility.

I need extra time – am I charged for this?2024-08-09T03:45:52+00:00

You booking time includes all your bump in and bump out requirements which includes set up and pack up. Please ensure that you have booked an adequate amount of time and extra hour time slots can be made at the time of your booking for $100 per hour.

You are provided with a 15 min grace period. If you feel you would need more time, please contact Leah ASAP to check on availability.
